ICC have confirmed that soft signals are to be scrapped in international cricket from 01 Jun 2023.
I didn't even know these soft signals existed.
Can someone explain to me what is the point of soft signals?
The soft signal is an indication to the third umpire on the initial verdict of the on field umpire.
The third umpire then reviews the dismissal and provides a decision.
