Are wides and no balls counted as balls faced by the batters?
I know they go against bowlers.
Wides are not added to the batsman's balls faced but no balls are. Probably because the batsman can score runs on a no ball.
What about a free hit? Does that count as a ball faced by the batter?
Yes free hits are counted
